With Audirect's refinement of the ES9281, the tuning direction has gradually shifted from simply emphasizing quality to focusing more on musicality and atmosphere, resulting in a smooth, delicate, and relaxed sound.
   The Meze99 Classics are relatively easy to drive closed-back headphones, but they require good control from the front end. When using the official 2.5mm balanced cable (not an upgraded cable, but an optional cable) with a adapter to connect to the Beam 3s, the relaxed and composed nature of the Beam 3s becomes more apparent, and it exhibits excellent control over the low frequencies. The neutral sound signature of the Beam 3s, when paired with the wooden cups of the Meze99 Classics, creates a warm and pleasant sound that is clear without being piercing, resulting in a very comfortable listening experience.
