Compared to the original cable, the refinement in the high frequencies is noticeable, yet it doesn't feel markedly subdued. Similarly, the soundstage doesn't seem to shrink, maintaining an openness akin to open-back headphones. There's a reduced intensity and sharpness, while the high frequencies feel more airy. Anticipated sharpness in familiar songs results in a neater, more precise high end. The impact in the low frequencies is slightly dialed back, rendering the overall listening experience more pleasant compared to the original cable, all the while preserving the qualities of the original noir sound. It's somewhat reminiscent of the third mode of the Trianon (high frequency mode).
