The Genelec F-Series powered subwoofers offer high-level professional sound quality and timeless Nordic design. They are the perfect complement to the G-Series. They can easily be combined with the G-Series to create a 2.1 stereo system, 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system, or even a 3D panoramic sound system, fully exploring the low-frequency potential in movies and music.
The F One subwoofer reproduces low frequencies as low as 35 Hz with extremely low distortion, even at high sound pressure levels. It also features room response and bass management functions that allow for precise adjustment of performance based on the room, allowing the main speakers to focus more effectively on frequencies other than low frequencies.
To adapt to different environmental factors, the F-Series subwoofers have a bass roll-off switch that can be used to achieve a more neutral and realistic sound.
With analog and digital inputs and automatic detection of input connections, the F-Series subwoofers can serve as the central hub for home audio equipment. The F-One includes a remote control for wireless volume control and has infrared learning functionality to match with other infrared remote controllers in the home.
To compensate for phase differences between the full-range speaker and the subwoofer caused by their distance from the listener, the F-Series subwoofers feature phase control settings. There are two phase matching switches that provide four options ranging from 0° to -270° to compensate for incorrect phase coupling.
Designed by renowned Finnish designer Harri Koskinen, who has won multiple design awards, the F-Series subwoofers boast a minimalist and refined exterior design that can complement a variety of interior styles.
