The award-winning Genelec F Series active subwoofers are renowned for their high-quality professional sound and timeless Nordic design, making them the perfect companion to the G Series. They can be easily combined with the G Series to create a 2.1 stereo system, 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system, or even a 3D immersive audio system, fully tapping into the low-frequency potential of movies and music.
With extremely low distortion, the F Two seamlessly integrates with the main speakers, extending the low-frequency response of the entire system down to 27 Hz. Room response and bass management functions allow for precise adjustments to optimize performance based on the specific room characteristics, allowing the main speakers to focus more effectively on frequencies above the low end. Users can also connect two F Two subwoofers together and pair them with the G Four.
The subwoofers' frequency content below 85 Hz is allocated to the F Two, while signals above 85 Hz are sent to the G Series full-range speakers for playback. When used as the LFE channel in a multi-channel audio system, the F Two can be managed for low frequencies using a cinema processor or AV preamp, with the subwoofer only connected to the LFE channel.
To adapt the subwoofer to different acoustic environments, the Bass Roll-Off switch allows for adjustments in the subwoofer's acoustic response, resulting in a more neutral and accurate sound.
The F Series subwoofers offer various connectivity options with both analog and digital inputs, automatically detecting the connected input sources and serving as a central hub for home audio equipment. The F One remote control allows for wireless volume control and the infrared learning function enables compatibility with other infrared remotes in the home.
To address phase differences between the full-range speakers and the subwoofer caused by their differing distances, two phase matching switches are provided, offering four options ranging from 0° to -270° to compensate for incorrect phase coupling and prevent cancellation at the crossover frequency.
Designed by renowned Finnish designer Harri Koskinen, the F Series subwoofers have received multiple design awards. Their minimalist and refined exterior design perfectly complements various interior styles.
