Flicker Ear was established in Hong Kong in 2016, aiming to capture the market with extremely high cost-performance ratio. The constellation series is named after the constellations in the Lachai family, as constellations and music have always been a common language across different regions and civilizations. The brand seeks to embody the spirit of stargazing, emphasizing accuracy, professionalism, and timing, in hopes of faithfully reproducing every tone and detail while conveying the emotions within the music.
The symbol of Antlia is an air pump, which generates power by accelerating the flow of air, providing you with ample dynamic and low frequency. Consisting of a moving coil and a moving iron, the clarity and delicacy provided by the moving iron complements the low frequency and power of the moving coil. The two work together, showcasing their individual strengths, making it the ultimate choice for entry-level headphones.
Even the entry-level model of the headphones is meticulous in its design, using a 4-core single crystal copper-plated silver wire for the cable and a Japanese Oyaide plug for the connector, with an MMCX pin for easy future upgrades. In order to make custom headphones more accessible to more players, the first 20 orders for Antlia each month only cost HKD$998, including the ear molds, basic headphone color, cable, and protective case.
