LAM (Live Acoustic Mod) is a product developed for audiophiles. With LAM's exclusive technology, users can instantly change the sound quality of their headphones. With just one pair of headphones, users can enjoy 4, 8, or even more variations in sound. Operating LAM is simple, users only need to adjust the tuner on the headphones to switch between different modes. Additionally, LAM has a filter replacement function for the headphones and a dual plug design (Ambient-Acoustics exclusive MMCX and CIEM 2-pin plugs), allowing users to further enhance sound quality by changing the filters and cables.
The LAM-7U is equipped with seven dynamic iron units and three sets of tone controls. You can easily switch between four levels of low-frequency adjustment (0dB / +6dB / +10dB / +14dB) and two levels of mid-frequency adjustment (0dB / +5dB), offering a total of eight different tones. This allows you to finely adjust and emphasize various music details.
Users can replace the filters and headphone cables of the earphones. In addition to the original spiral MMCX plug, the headphones can also be equipped with a 0.78 2pin plug, making upgrades very convenient. In terms of sound quality, the LAM7 offers higher resolution and detail than the LAM5. The positioning in terms of front and back distance and depth is richer, making listening to large-scale performances particularly exciting and providing a sense of being in a live setting.
Metal conductive tubes are used in the structure to naturally generate resonance through the human ear canal, resulting in a particularly harmonious and bright sound.
The strength of LAM technology lies in its ability to maintain the same total resistance of the headphones when switching modes, thus eliminating the need to adjust the output in the player or amplifier.
Ambient Acoustics has uniquely developed impedance and phase correction technology, which enhances the linearity of the headphone's impedance and phase curve, reducing the impact of amplifier internal circuits on the headphone's sound characteristics and significantly increasing the naturalness and integration of the sound.
